of the house the KLM antenna and Wersatower were replaced with
a R-7000 in last part of 1999. |
The commercial use of CW at sea ended officially
in mid-April 1999. As a tribute to this occasion, some Norweagian
radio amateurs used the LD prefix. LA9GY Morten graduated as
commercial wireless operator in 1980. Some QSOs with the LD9GY
call were made in April 1999. Most of the QSOs were with JA
stations.
